I managed to get one from a NorCal dealer - who else put a deposit?
Are you allowed to say what the deposit amount was ?I managed to get one from a NorCal dealer - who else put a deposit?
still the same amount at the same dealer, they just don't allow credit cards anymore. Are you allowed to say what the deposit amount was ?
Back in 2022 when I ordered my Cross Turismo, Porsche of Stevens Creek required a $5,000 deposit. They actually sold the car to me for less than MSRP, which was rare during the pandemic.
Congrats! Are you keeping the ICE Boxster if you get one of the 718 EV?I made two deposits for the 718EV at Stevens Creek Porsche. One for the Boxster (#1 on the list) and one for the Cayman (#8 on the list) as I'm undecided on which model.
To see if the 718EV will be a good fit, I want to test ride it first since I'll be replacing my Macan EV, a very good daily driver for me. I realize it's a huge size downgrade from a 4 seater with a large trunk, but I don't think that'll be an issue since I also have a Honda minivan. Assuming the new 718 will have similar front and rear trunks as my current ICE Boxster, it should be sufficient for my needs 99% of the time. The real question for me is the level of comfort as my current Boxster is too rough riding.
